Coursework parallels in the BFA in interior design, with additional emphasis in ecology and sustainable design. the B.S in Environmental Design, however, is not recognized by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation.

Coursework includes design graphics and sketching, green design, historic preventative, technical and computer aided drafting, three-dimensional development and design,  architecture and landscape history. Students may also pursue an architecture studies track.
