Donna Cherveny, Ed.D.

I am a proud Brenau University College of Education alumna. I earned my bachelor’s in Middle Grades Education from Brenau University in 2006 and served as a middle school teacher for eight years. My advanced degrees were earned from Walden University and Liberty University, where I learned the value of online educational opportunities. For that reason, I enjoy teaching online courses at Brenau University where I can connect with students virtually.

I currently serve as the director of assessment for the College of Education, as well as an associate professor of Education. I teach courses across all platforms and program levels, but there is a special place in my heart for students seeking initial certification in teaching. I teach initial certification courses dealing with effective planning and assessment measures. At the graduate level, I teach courses related to programmatic assessment and curriculum development. I love Brenau University and programs in the College of Education. Our programs effectively prepare you for your next career step, so you can follow your dreams.
