Kevin Mace, Ph.D.

As Assistant Professor of Mass Communications in the College of Business and Mass Media, Dr. Kevin Mace holds degrees from the following institutions: A BFA in Film/Theatre from the University of Toledo, an MA in Film/Literature from Oklahoma State University, and a PhD in Speech Communications from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. Before coming to Brenau University in 2007, Dr. Mace spent eight years (1999-2007) at North Georgia College and State University as Director of Speech and Drama.  At Brenau University, he teaches Public Speaking, Interpersonal Communication, Film Appreciation, and Introduction to Film. Along with his teaching duties, Dr. Mace has been the Faculty Supervisor for Lambda Pi Eta, the national honor society for Communication students, since 2008, and he has been Chair of the Media Board since 2011.
