  • Institutional Aid
    • Scholarships and grants provided by Brenau
  • State Aid
    • Scholarships, grants and loans
  • Federal Aid
    • Grants, loans and work-study programs
  • Private scholarships
    • Scholarships offered by outside organizations not affiliated with Brenau

Did you know most Brenau undergraduate students receive financial aid?

90% of undergraduate students received some form of financial assistance for the 2021-2022 academic year.

Let’s get started

Complete the free online Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at fafsa.gov.
Make sure to include the Brenau School Code on your application.
Brenau’s code: 001556

If you are a Georgia resident, apply for Georgia state aid online at gafutures.org.

You must:

  • have graduated from an eligible high school located in Georgia or have lived as a legal Georgia resident for a minimum of 12 consecutive months prior to the start of your first term at Brenau
  • be an undergraduate student
  • not have exceeded the eligibility limits for aid

Things to keep in mind

  • You must submit your FAFSA application to qualify for financial aid
  • FAFSA applications cover one academic year, so a new application must be submitted each year to receive aid
  • Eligibility for need-based  grants is contingent on information from the FAFSA application and tax information

If selected for verification, you are responsible for verifying that information is accurate. (Make sure you are checking your email for notifications)

Did you know you can work on campus to help pay for your tuition?

The Federal Work-Study Program provides funds for part-time jobs on campus for interested students who demonstrate financial need. Participating in the Federal Work-Study Program means you’ll be able to earn money on campus to help pay your tuition. You must first file your FAFSA to determine your eligibility for the program.
