Marlene​ ​Giguere​,​ ​dean​ ​of​ ​library​ ​services,​ ​has​ ​managed​ ​Brenau’s​ ​Trustee​ ​Library​ ​since​ ​2005. For​ ​more​ ​than​ ​a​ ​decade,​ ​Giguere​ ​has​ ​led​ ​initiatives​ ​to​ ​redesign​ ​the​ ​interior​ ​library​ ​space,​ ​install new​ ​integrated​ ​software​ ​and​ ​expand​ ​e-resources​ ​and​ ​online​ ​support​ ​services.​ ​She​ ​became​ ​the university’s​ ​Southern​ ​Association​ ​of​ ​Colleges​ ​&​ ​Schools​ ​Commission​ ​on​ ​Colleges​ ​liaison​ ​in​ ​2012, managing​ ​projects​ ​such​ ​as​ ​document​ ​submissions​ ​for​ ​Brenau’s​ ​physical​ ​therapy​ ​and occupational​ ​therapy​ programs​ ​and​ ​the​ ​approval​ ​of​ ​the​ ​university’s​ ​Jacksonville,​ ​Florida, campus.​ ​Before​ ​joining​ ​Brenau,​ ​she​ ​spent​ ​a​ ​decade​ ​at​ ​Concordia​ ​University,​ ​where​ ​she​ ​became an​ ​associate​ ​professor​ ​and​ ​program​ ​director​ ​for​ ​library​ ​studies.​ ​She​ ​holds​ ​a​ master’s​ ​degree​ ​in library​ ​science​ ​from​ ​the​ ​Universite​ ​de​ ​Montreal​ ​and​ ​an​ ​undergraduate​ ​degree​ ​in​ ​honors sociology​ ​from​ ​McGill​ ​University​ ​in​ ​Montreal,​ ​Canada.
