Eugene Williams, Ed.D.

I taught in the public school system for 30 years, serving as a classroom teacher, coach, assistant principal and principal before retiring. During my career in the Georgia public school system, I worked in Cordele, Fort Gaines, Cuthbert, Athens, Monroe, and Loganville.

Since retiring from the public school system, I have educated students at Brenau University for over 15 years, serving as a professor, department chair for initial certification and graduate programs, and as the dean. During my career, I have had the pleasure of presenting teacher training sessions at Brenau, as well as Aruba, Belize, China and Mexico. Additionally, I have served on various committees while working with school systems, Brenau University, several professional organizations, and the PSC. I’ve also served as President of GACTE, from 2017 to 2018.

I received a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and a Master of Education degree from Albany State University, an Education Specialist degree from Columbus State University and a Doctor of Education degree from the University of Georgia.
