Brenau University’s COVID Task Force is aware of changes to CDC guidelines on Oct. 21, 2020 regarding the definition of close contact. At this time this change does not impact our protocols. If future changes are made in our protocols, we will inform the Brenau community and changes will be reflected on this site.

Are dining facilities open to students?

Yes, they are. Social distancing is being carefully managed and the number of students in the dining room at any given time is limited. Faculty and staff will not eat in the dining hall, which leaves more space for students. The Tea Room is also open, but also with guidelines for distancing and appropriate numbers.

Yes. Beginning on Aug. 24, the Tea Room will be open 7:30 a.m to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Friday hours will be 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Tea Room will be closed Saturday and Sunday.
