Where will I stay on campus? In a dorm or sorority house with a student hostess.
Where should my family stay? Families are welcome to participate in all activities until 4:30pm. Local hotels are offering reasonable rates for overnight guests.
Can my family attend the Brenau Ideal Scholarship Competition? Yes, families are welcome to come back to campus for the Brenau Ideal Scholarship Competition, though we encourage you to sit with other students and the new friends you’ve made.
What should I bring? Sleeping bag and pillow, pjs or other comfy clothes for sleeping, toiletries, and a change of clothes for the Brenau Ideal Scholarship Competition.
What should I wear? For the daytime activities comfortable, warm clothing is appropriate. For dinner and the Miss Brenau Scholarship Competition students are encouraged to change into business type attire, something that would be appropriate for church or an interview.
What is the Brenau Ideal Scholarship Competition? This is an annual event for selected current Brenau freshmen and sophomores to compete for a scholarship through essay, interview, and a talent showcase.
Is there a deadline to RSVP? In order to be placed in the sorority house or dorm of your choice, you must register by January 15. Any registrations after that date will be placed in housing locations that have vacancies.
What is the cost? NOTHING! The event is totally free!
