I hope to see you at Brenau as a psychology student. If you have questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Best regards,

Department Chair

Brenau University has recently introduced its new mission and new liberal education curriculum. The Psychology Department works hard to support the mission of preparing students to live extraordinary lives through its undergraduate BS in psychology, psychology minor, and MPAC accredited master's degree in clinical counseling psychology. Psychology is an exciting and fascinating field, and a degree in psychology can ultimately lead to careers in a wide range of areas. I hope that you will take this opportunity to explore the field of psychology which involves the scientific study of behavior and mental processes.

The psychology program at Brenau offers you the opportunity to work closely with doctoral-level licensed psychologists through your classwork, research opportunities, and applied experiences in the field, all of which contribute to your intellectual and professional development and to a commitment to service. You will be challenged to develop strong analytical and critical thinking skills through our rigorous academic program. The program also encourages personal exploration and growth as well as involvement in the community and in cultural experiences which contribute to a global understanding. Your experiences in the Brenau psychology program will prepare you for a wide range of career opportunities and for graduate school. In addition, advanced undergraduates can apply to our early admissions program for the master's in clinical counseling psychology.

Brenau's outstanding doctoral-level faculty are widely recognized for their academic quality and teaching ability. Our first priority is you and we are committed to the teaching-learning process where small classes encourage interaction and communication between student and faculty, in class and out.
