What our students
and graduates think: Amanda Miller |
“I
was exposed to hippotherapy during my internship, and I enjoyed it. I had
the opportunity to work with it soon after I graduated, and I jumped at
the chance,” says Miller. Soon after her graduation,
Amanda was the program director of Wings Across Georgia, a facility that provides therapy on horseback (hippotherapy)
for children with disabilities.

“Brenau gave me the confidence to take a management position and succeed
in it,” says Amanda Miller, graduate of the Brenau Occupational
Therapy Department BS/MS program. “I am sure I would not
be as successful or
marketable in my field had I not attended Brenau.”

“As program director, I
applied the management and administrative skills
I learned at Brenau. Writing job descriptions, manuals, keeping policies and
procedures in place as well as protocols – these are skills I learned
before I had my job.”
