Brenau Theatre is part of the
Gainesville Theatre Alliance (GTA), a
unique collaboration of academic, community, and professional talent.
Students from Brenau University and Gainesville State College combine resources
to offer an Associate of Arts degree from Gainesville State College or one of
the above degrees from Brenau. Courses are offered at both campuses during
the first two years and at Brenau during the final two years.

The high quality of the program has been
recognized by performances showcased at the 1990 American College Theatre
Festival in Washington, D.C., and by rankings as one of the top state
professional theatres by the Georgia Council for the Arts.
Brenau offers several production and performance
opportunities: Mainstage productions, including musicals, classical, and
contemporary plays; Student directed scenes, one-acts, and full-length
works; Children's theatre productions; Opera and dance productions;
Audition and interview opportunities at the Georgia and Southeast Theatre
Conferences. |
