The John S. Burd Center
for the Performing Arts
 |
|
Founded in 1878, Brenau's original charter provided for both a
conservatory of music, as well as a college. In keeping with this legacy,
Brenau inaugurated the new
John S. Burd
Center for the Performing Arts in April 2002.
This 51,000 square foot facility houses the music
classrooms and studios, a large, state-of-the-art concert hall, and an
intimate recital hall designed specifically for student performances.
Brenau's historic Pearce
Auditorium will continue to be an additional concert venue for the
music department. |
