Begin your extraordinary life!
The dance program at Brenau University is dynamic and challenging. It offers students a strong curriculum built on concert dance in ballet and modern to create their own extraordinary experiences. Adventures in the extraordinary life.
The Dance program at Brenau University is dynamic and challenging. It offers students a strong curriculum to build their own extraordinary experience. Ballet and modern dance anchor the program with additional work in jazz, improvisation and choreography. The Brenau University Dance Program is the only university program in the state of Georgia accredited by the National Association of Schools of Dance (NASD).

We are looking forward to dancing in our new studios next year. We are adding two new 60' x 40'studios with Harlequin floors in the Brenau East Campus bringing our total to 5 studios.

This year we hosted workshops by Phyllis Weikart, Ajile Axam & Oginga Love, Dara Wells, and Jay Jernigan. Nationally known alumna Danita Emma set a ballet on the students for the Faculty Concert. During the last year the dance program hosted Gladys Bailin of the original Alwyn Nikolais company and Matthew Rose of the Mark Morris Dance Group. Mr. Rose staged "Marble Halls" from the MMDG repertoire and Ms. Bailin set one of her own works on the Brenau dancers. Let the dance program help you explore the options for your extraordinary life.
