| The art education program provides students with a knowledge of the visual arts and the art education profession.
The program furnishes an understanding of the educational process and the skills necessary to teach their students both how to create and to appreciate the value and importance of the visual arts in their lives. At Brenau, students develop technical skills in diverse media and expertise in one medium. Competency in the studio is stressed so that students will be knowledgeable about their field and personally involved in their profession.
