teachers who are interested in refining and enhancing their teaching
skills. |
 | Special Education provides teachers
with the skills necessary to work with a broad range of learners
with disabilities. |
 | The graduate student brings to the
classroom knowledge of the characteristics of the learner and
understanding of the tasks of teaching. |
 | The Master of Arts in Teaching
provides candidates with a baccalaureate degree in biology,
chemistry, mathematics, history, political science, English, or
theatre with the opportunity to complete a master's program that
will lead to initial teaching certification. |
The graduate program acts as a
facilitator to enhance the knowledge base of the graduate student in
applied research, pedagogy, assessment and analysis of the teaching
process. The interactive graduate courses encourage inquiry and
reflection. |
