Corporate communications combines various components from the fields of communication of business administration. Detailed study is given on the structural and organizational make-up of a varied group of corporate businesses and situations.

Skills such as the planning, design and development and implementation of marketing and public relations strategies are incorporated into both individual and group assignments and projects. Corporate communications, like all concentrations available to mass communication majors, stresses the importance of both written and oral communication skill. The ability to effectively and efficiently express views and ideas is an important skill learned in corporate communication classes.
