From the Department Chair

Television, newspapers, radio, the worldwide web... all these are examples of the many ways in which modern society communicates.  Reliance on the latest techology, and a methodical approach using established communication theory, are what makes mass communication an exciting field.  Whether you are aiming for a career  as a television news anchor, radio broadcaster, or for one of the many other occupations in mass communication, you can be sure to find that it will be of an ever-changing, exciting nature.

At Brenau University, we will prepare you well for a career in mass communication in the 21st century.  You will gain hands-on experience in a real, working television station, get an in-depth view of radio broadcasting, and learn from rank and file journalists.
