Students who chose a concentration in the field of broadcast have the unique opportunity to experience both behind the scene and on-camera experience for Cable 95 or "Brenau News Forum." Brenau is also the home for jazz station WBCX-FM.

Courses of study focus on skills needed for production and editing along with detailed broadcast copywriting skills. Writing skills and style are addressed for both radio and television production. Detail and management are also stressed. Student skills are also refined by classes such as voice performance for broadcast and camera performance.

Hands-on opportunities include behind-scene production of "Brenau News Forum" and "Brenau News" on Cable 95, a CNN affiliate. "Brenau News" is produced and anchored by Brenau students. This provides the student with experience in front of the camera, in addition to class studies.

In addition to the Mass Communication Major Requirements, students will complete the courses shown at right.
