Cable 95 offers a variety
services and opportunities to students. Monitors have been placed
throughout the buildings on the Gainesville campus to offer
announcements of campus activities and upcoming events of interest in
the surrounding area. The information is updated daily, providing the
students with easy access to important information and possible changes
happening throughout the campus. Faculty members are able to play
videotapes used for individual classes for the added enrichment of all
students' education and enjoyment through Cable 95. In addition, replays
of satellite teleconference feeds are available. |
Cable 95 also
offers students an opportunity to participate in the production and
taping of various programs, allowing them hands-on experience through
both class and individual participation. Cable 95, an affiliate of CNN
news, produces and airs the "Cable 95 News" which gives
interested students a chance for behind-the-scenes production experience
and on camera performance opportunities. "Brenau News
Forum", produced and taped on campus, provides an additional
opportunity for those interested in production and broadcast management. |
