Note: Brenau University attendance Policy
Students are expected to attend all class meetings
and the first class meeting is mandatory. Students who do not attend the
first class meeting will be required to drop the course or receive a
failing grade. If after attending the first class meeting a student must
miss class due to a serious emergency, the student should notify the
professor as soon as possible. Students will be responsible for the work
missed due to absence from any class period or any portion thereof. Grades
will be affected by any absence or tardiness, at the discretion of the
professor. No student can miss more than one class period or the
equivalent (which is 4 hours) and expect to pass an Evening and Weekend
College Course. Students who must withdraw from a course due to
an attendance policy violation must complete a drop form. |
