Dr. Vince Yamilkoski,
known on campus as "Dr. Vince," is a professor of special education at Brenau School of Education and Director of the Learning Center.  He has taught special education, study skills, and freshman seminars for twenty years at Brenau.  Before coming to Brenau, Dr. Vince taught adolescents with disabilities for seven years.  His degrees are from John Carroll University and the University of Georgia.  Dr. Vince says his job is to help students with disabilities earn a college degree at Brenau and have a successful college-life experience. Dr. Vince commitment to students' success is evident in his devoted efforts  making the freshman experience a rewarding one through advisement and encouragement.
Diana Mulkey, Office Manager/CLEP Coordinator

Handles the day-to-day operations in the Learning Center, schedules tutors, proctors test and administers CLEPS and DSST tests. Ms. Mulkey comes to Brenau with a background in accounting and office management. As a grandmother of a child with a learning disability, Ms. Mulkey understands the additional hardships these students and parents must endure.  She likes for students to know that she is always there for them, to lend a helping hand, or give them encouragement when they are feeling a little discouraged. Presently, Ms. Mulkey is continuing her education through Brenau University's Online College.

   
Dr. Wayne Dempsey, Executive Vice President, is Brenau University's Compliance Officer.  Dr. Dempsey coordinates the University's efforts in complying with federal, state, and local laws such as Section 504 and ADA, Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.Grievance procedures are published in the Brenau Catalog.

Academic Tutors at the Learning Center hold at least one college degree; five hold a Masters degree, two have doctorates.  They are content area specialists in the subjects they tutor.
