Gary S. Bauman,Ph.D., L.P.C.
is an Associate Professor and Graduate Program Coordinator for Clinical Counseling Psychology. Dr. Bauman began teaching at Brenau University in 2004. He obtained a B.S. in Psychology at Berry College (1988), an M.S. in Community Counseling at Georgia State University (1990), and a Ph.D. in Counseling at Georgia State University (2000). Dr. Bauman has been a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Georgia since 1994 and has worked in a variety of in-patient and out-patient settings, including private practice. His areas of instructional focus are: Theories of Personality, Theories of Psychotherapy, Counseling and Therapy, Group Counseling, and The Helping Relationship. Dr. Bauman is a member and frequent presenter of the North American Society for Adlerian Psychology (NASAP). gbauman.brenau.edu
