Online RN-BSN

Message from Dr. Judy Bradberry

Thank you so much for your interest in furthering your professional growth at Brenau University! This program, which takes Registered Nurses (RNs) from educational preparation in a Diploma or Associate Degree school to educational preparation in a Baccalaureate School, is designed with working RNs in mind. The program acknowledges that RNs already have a strong educational base in how to provide competent patient care. The focus is therefore on expanding the breadth of RNs professional identity in the areas of nursing philosophy, theory, ethics, diversity, health promotion, leadership, community health nursing, health policy, comprehensive health assessment, and research. The last semester is a capstone type of course in which students are precepted by an RN who holds a BSN whose job responsibilities reflect various aspects of leadership or management. This program teaches those who already know how to take care of patients ways in which to take better care of the profession of nursing itself.

Nursing RN – BSN BridgeBSNThe RN-BSN program is designed for practicing professional nurses wishing to enhance their position within the profession.
