Brooke Desnoës graduated from Brenau University in 1990 with a degree in Ballet Pedagogy. Brooke then went on to teach at The Washington School of Ballet in Washington, D.C. and be involved with ballet companies across North America and Europe. In 1998 Brooke founded L’Académie Américaine de Danse de Paris, which is the largest American ballet school in Europe.
Brooke creates numerous dance outreach programs throughout Paris and Europe, is a member of UNESCO, and works directly with the Royal Academy of Dance. Her students have gone on to study at schools such as American Ballet Theatre (ABT), The Washington School of Ballet, Atlanta Ballet School of Dance, Alvin Ailey Dance Center, The Boston Ballet School, The Cranko School, The Royal Ballet School, English National Ballet School, The Joffrey Academy-Chicago, Nutmeg Conservatory, The Rock School and have been accepted into professional companies across Europe and the United States.
Brooke has danced a varied repertoire including leading roles in many classic ballets such as “Sleeping Beauty”, “Cinderella”, “Paquita”, and “ “Romeo and Juliet” as well as works by other contemporary choreographers.
