Teaching Philosophy:

As an educator, I view myself primarily as a facilitator of learning. We are all capable of learning and only need guidance, encouragement and access to information to accomplish our desired task. I try to provide my students with a variety of learning activities and experiences to enrich their experiences in my classes. I share my more than thirty years of experience at the K-12 and higher education levels as a classroom teacher, and also from the perspective as an administrator. In addition, I try to model lifelong learning as I share with my students that it is important for us to reflect, make adjustments and continually expand our knowledge if we are to become the best educator possible.
