About

WADE is designed to provide young women in Georgia high schools with opportunities to exhibit artwork, develop advanced studio skills, cultivate aesthetic appreciation, and earn scholarships for college study.

Goal:
Through this dynamic festival of exhibitions, presentations and studio workshops Brenau University seeks to celebrate the young woman’s role in defining the symbiotic relationship of art and society.

On behalf of the steering committee, we are pleased to announce the young Women’s Art & Design Exhibition, WADE, at Brenau University. In the spirit of the previous All-State Festival of Art & Design, Brenau has revitalized the festival and modeled it into a women’s only event. The steering committee is planning a spectacular list of activities, workshops and lectures for young women including an exhibition of their works.
