Minors of particular interest may be taken, for example, in communications (for those interested in journalism or public relations), gender studies, history and political science (for those interested in law school), business (for those interested in management), theatre, biology (for those interested in medical school) or science (for those interested in technical writing). Other minors are possible or a student may take elective courses in a variety of disciplines.
English majors have the option of completing a concentration in Creative Writing. English majors with a Creating Writing concentration would take EH 360, EH 460, EH 461 and EH 493 as part of their program.
