We have excellent programs in the Department of Humanities. Majors include conflict and legal studies, English, history/political science, and liberal studies. The department also offers minors in conflict resolution and legal studies, English, gender studies, international studies, history/political science, and Spanish.

Liberal Education coursework offered through the department includes modern languages (Chinese, French, Italian, and Spanish), English history, international studies, legal studies, literature, philosophy, and political science.

We are particularly proud of our Conflict Resolution Mock Mediation team which won the National Mock Mediation National Championship in 2002.
