Kip Pirkle, Ph.D.
Dr. Pirkle earned his Ph.D. in Management from Clemson University, following Accounting and MBA degrees from the University of Georgia. After graduating from Georgia, he worked as a staff accountant for a CPA firm and then purchased an accounting practice. He has been the managing partner in two real estate partnerships. While at Clemson he was a Consultant with the Small Business Development Center, assisting entrepreneurs with business plans and day-to-day operations. He has spent the last 20 years in academics, while maintaining an active consulting practice, primarily in the management of quality, financial forecasting, and valuation. He has taught and conducted business seminars in several foreign countries, and has spent significant time studying and visiting Europe, Asia, and South America. His passion is the study of globalization, and its impact on culture and business.
