James (Jim) Taylor, Ph.D.
Professor Taylor’s education includes a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from the University of Chicago. He is currently completing a PhD in Technology Management – Quality Systems from Indiana State University. He is a 30 year veteran of the automotive industry. His fields of experience have included design engineering, sales, project management, quality and continuous improvement fields such as Six Sigma and Lean. He is a Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) and certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt. He has been an adjunct instructor for Brenau since 2007 and became a full-time Assistant Professor of Management in the Fall of 2012.
