William (Bill) Haney, Ph.D.

Dr. Bill Haney has been at Brenau University since August 2000. Bill is the lead professor for the undergraduate and graduate programs in organizational leadership and the former dean of the College of Business & Mass Communication. He earned an M.S. degree in counseling psychology and human systems from Florida State University.  He also holds an M.B.A. degree from Golden Gate University with an emphasis in management and a Ph.D. in higher education with an emphasis in business administration from Florida State University.  Dr. Haney teaches in the areas of organizational behavior, cultural diversity, human resource management, team building, critical thinking, leadership, international business, managerial communication and management principles.  He is a private consultant, and licensed clinical psychotherapist in Florida.  For both business and pleasure, Haney has traveled and studied in France, England, Scotland, Ireland, Belgium, Holland, Luxemburg, Germany, Austria, Italy, the Vatican, Liechtenstein, Canada, Mexico, the Bahamas, Puerto Rico, and to about half of the states in the United States.
