Ghilardotti Wins Consolation Title

Junior Paula Ghilardotti won the Consolation Championship in the #1 Flight of the Chick-Fil-A Collegiate Championships in Augusta today, defeating Glebova of Florida Central Community College 6-4, 6-4.

Volleyball Plays Well in Loss

Even though the outcome was a loss, the Golden Tigers volleyball team (4-8, 0-8)played their best match of the season in Columbia, SC today, losing in four games to Columbia. Freshman Kerry Abernathy played very well, with 12 assists in the match.

Fell Selected Tiger of the Week

Sarah Fell, sophomore from Brunswick, GA, has been selected as Golden Tiger Athlete of the Week for Sept. 23-30 for her performance in the swim meet last Saturday against Milligan, TN, which the Tigers won 128-55.

The top team in the SSAC, Berry College (5-0, 10-7) visited Gainesvile tonight and beat Brenau (0-7, 4-7) in three straight games. Freshman Alexis Arthur continued her stellar play with six kills in the match.

Mission Statement
