Kansas City, MO- The NAIA National Office released the names of the schools that have been designated as Champions of Character Institutions and Brenau University is on the list.

The Brewton Parker Barons (4-2, 1-0) came into the Brenau gym tonight for the SSAC conference opener for both teams and slipped past the Tigers (3-2, 0-1)81-75. Junior Ashley Hagans poured in 28 points, but it wasn't enough.

Cross Country Receives SSAC Awards

The Brenau cross country team has been recognized by the Southern States Athletic Conference with several awards. Sophomore Hillary Corey (Hiawassee) was recognized with a Champions of Character and All Academic Team award.

Brenau Basketball Cruises Past Spelman

The Brenau Golden Tigers (3-1) cruised past the Spelman Jaquars (0-2) tonight at the Spelman gym 82-59. Junior Paige Cooper (Bradenton, FL) came off the bench and had a double-double with 10 points and 13 rebounds.

Four Soccer Players Earn All-Conference Recognition

The Brenau soccer team was well represented as the conference awards were announced for the SSAC this week. Senior Defender Kelly Young (Lawrenceville) closed out her career by making First Team All Conference.

Mission Statement
