Lesnick and Futrell Take Weekly Honors for the SSAC

Sophomore goalkeeper Lisa Lesnick (Surfside Beach, SC) was named Southern States Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week today. Junior striker Lily Futrell (Savannah, Ga.) was selected as SSAC Offensive Player of the Week.

Tigers Finish Second at Faulkner Invitational

The Golden Tigers volleyball team finished second at the Faulkner Invitational today, losing in the championship match to Spring Hill, AL in four games. Junior hitter Karen Green was named to the All-Tournament team.

Tori Futrell Scores Three in Big Win

The Brenau soccer team won their third game in a row and fourth of the last five with a big win at Auburn-Montgomery today, shutting out the home team 4-0. Freshman Tori Futrell scored three goals to lead the Tigers to their biggest win in program history.

Gonzalez Leads The Way in Marietta

Freshman Maria Gonzalez (Lawrenceville) led the way for the Tigers cross country team today in Marietta at the Southern Cross Country Challenge by finishing 12th in a field of 72 runners with a time of 22:24. Brenau finished 4th of the 10 teams entered in the 5K race.

Brenau Splits at Faulkner Invitational

The Brenau volleyball team traveled to Montgomery,AL to compete in the Faulkner Invitational today and split two matches, winning the first against the Faulkner JV team and losing to Lambuth, TN.

Mission Statement
Brenau University believes that intercollegiate athletics play a vital role in the mental, emotional, physical and social development and well-being of its students.
