Brenau Snaps Two Game Slide

The Brenau basketball team (10-4, 3-2) returned to the Brenau gym tonight for the first time in five weeks and snapped a two game losing streak with a 81-56 SSAC win over Reinhardt (4-9, 2-3).

Softball Signs Lassiter Standout

Jana Bryant, senior outfielder from Lassiter High School in Marietta, has signed a letter of intent to play softball for Brenau University beginning in the fall of 2009. She played on the 5A State Championship team in 2007.

Tigers Drop Second in a Row

The Tennessee Wesleyan basketball team did a complete reversal on the Brenau Tigers tonight in Athens, TN by defeating them 66-46 after losing earlier in the season by the same margin in Gainesville. Paige Cooper led the Tigers in scoring with 12 points.

Berry Snaps Six Game Win Streak

The Brenau basketball team returned from the Christmas break and a three week layoff with a conference game at Berry today and had their six game win streak broken by the Vikings 76-66. Junior Paige Cooper came off the bench and scored 13 points with 8 rebounds to lead the Tigers.

Brenau Cruises Past Spelman

The Brenau basketball team finished out the 2008 part of their schedule with a school record sixth straight win as they cruised past the Spelman Jaguars 92-30 in the Brenau gym tonight and ran their overall record to 9-2.

Mission Statement
