Tigers Volleyball Runs Record to 3-0

The Brenau volleyball team added two more wins on Saturday to run their record to 3-0, the first time in history to be undefeated after three matches. Junior Shantoria Mayes played the best game of her career in the second match as the Tigers raced past Tennessee Temple 25-10, 25-11, and 25-7. They also defeated LaGrange in the first match of the day 25-21, 25-21 and 25-19.

The Brenau softball team, which is already talented and deep in pitching, has signed Cassie Lassiter, a transfer from NCAA Division I Troy University where she played for one season in 2008.

Tigers Open Season With Sweep

The Golden Tigers volleyball team opened their 2008 season in impressive style with a three game sweep over Spelman College in the Brenau gym tonight. Junior Maida Smajic did an exceptional job from the Libero position, controlling the back row and getting the offense started.

Ejupi Now Does Double Duty

Shkurte Ejupi, sophomore from Kosovo, competed in her first cross country race yesterday in Atlanta and finished 5th on her team. She also plays tennis for the Golden Tigers.

Mission Statement
Brenau University believes that intercollegiate athletics play a vital role in the mental, emotional, physical and social development and well-being of its students.
