Graduate Research Symposium

An interdisciplinary presentation forum for research conducted by students and faculty, the Symposium serves as an extension of the classroom, explores creative approaches to emergent problems, and acts as a venue for distribution of research. Women’s College Young Alumnae Cocktail Party

Women’s College alumnae from the Classes of 2005-2015 are invited to celebrate the start of Alumnae Reunion Weekend by reuniting with friends of the past and mingling with current Seniors who will become your alumnae sisters in less than a month! $10 per person includes heavy hors d’oeuvres. Cash bar available. Alumnae who have donated to the Annual Fund in the past year will also receive one complimentary cocktail. Annual Fund donations accepted at the door. Adult guests welcome.

Pearce Auditorium & Crow’s Nest
Each Women’s College undergraduate class pays tribute to the Senior class by performing original songs in their honor. Individual and organizational awards are given. At the conclusion of the program, Seniors (robed in black) and the rest of the student body (in white) process to the fountain and Crow’s Nest for the rise in rank ceremony and singing of “Seniors, We Honor Thee.” Alumnae welcome to attend both portions of Class Day. Presented by Brenau’s Center for Greek Life & Campus Traditions.

Champagne Brunch

A much-beloved tradition, the annual Champagne Brunch brings together alumnae of all decades for a celebration of the Brenau experience. Enjoy a delicious brunch while catching up with dear friends of the past and making new friends along the way. University President, Dr. Ed Schrader, will give the official welcome and toast to the weekend. $25/alumna  includes brunch, champagne toast, mimosa bar, gift bag, and commemorative wine glass. ($10 for adult guests; free for children.)

A new addition to Front Campus is a bronze sculpture by Jean Westmacott, former galleries director at Brenau. “Brenau Woman #2″ is a confident and self-assured, forward-looking woman ready to take on the world with her Brenau education. This pieces, which will be dedicated on May Day, compliments Westmacott’s “Brenau Woman #1″ also located outside Simmons Visual Arts Center.
