Student-Alumni Mentoring Program
The Brenau Student-Alumni Mentoring (SAM) program provides an opportunity for current Sophomores and Juniors to connect with alumni in a positive and professional way. These one-on-one mentoring relationships help ease the transition from college student to “real world” professional. The alumni mentor serves his/her student mentee as a guide, friend, and resource. The SAM program matches Sophomores and Juniors from both the Women’s College and other degree programs with a graduate working in a similar field of study, with similar interests, and/or with similar backgrounds. Students will feel comfortable asking their mentor questions about job skills, networking, continuing education, workplace etiquette, goal setting, career building, and more. Learn more about the SAM program and apply to become a mentor or mentee here.
The Brenau Student Ambassadors is a prestigious program which allows current students to interact with alumni, friends, University faculty and staff, donors, and community leaders with a passion for Brenau. Student Ambassadors attend many campus events as representatives of the entire student body in front of the broader population. From community leadership events to the President’s Club Dinner – Student Ambassadors experience Brenau University from a whole new perspective, all while building connections for the future.
Officers are elected in late Spring, and new members are selected in the early Fall.
