¨ Provides financial aid counseling for graduate students and determines their eligibility for financial aid programs ¨ Manages the Federal Direct Loan Program, including all weekly electronic processes required to request and obtain Direct Loan funds from the U.S. Department of Education; reconciles Direct Loan program ¨ Assists director in staff management, training and development ¨ Assists director in researching and implementing policies/procedures that ensure compliance with applicable federal and state student aid regulation, and in accordance with Brenau University’s mission and policies

¨ Oversees administration of all federal, state, and institutional financial aid programs ¨ Works closely with and awards financial aid packages to Women’s College students ¨ Coordinates scholarship programs (athletics, fine arts, endowed and annual foundation scholarships) ¨ Reviews financial aid appeals and requests for special financial considerations ¨ Manages the financial aid staff
