Brenau Granted 1st Georgia Chapter of Gerontology Academic Honor SocietyBrenau University is the first university in Georgia to be granted a chapter of the National Gerontology Academic Honor and Professional Society of Sigma Phi Omega.

Jen Wilson, MS, 2011 MPSY graduate, presented “Understanding, Appreciating, and Working with Parents” on February 29, 2012, at the “Across the Spectrum” Autism/Asperger Conference at the Gwinnett Convention Center.
2011 MPSY Grad Melanie Covert Accepted to P.D. Program
2011 master’s in clinical counseling psychology graduate Melanie Covert, MS, was accepted into the Ph.D. program in Sociology at Georgia State University in June.

Perry Daughtry, MS, Assistant Professor of Psychology, Receives Outstanding Part-Time Faculty Award
Perry Daughtry, MS, assistant professor in the Department of Psychology, was awarded the Outstanding Part-time Faculty Award at the May, 2010, Brenau commencement ceremonies. He is currently working toward a Ph.D. in industrial organizational psychology.

Congratulations to the 2012 Graduation Award WinnersOmolola Adegoke – Ali McNichols Outstanding Graduate Student Award Julie Anne Gresham Alexandrov – Applied Gerontology Outstanding Graduate Student Award Michelle Patton – Undergraduate Academic Excellence in Psychology Award Twyla Bryant – Outstanding Undergraduate Psychology Student Award Admissions Events Registration/Orientation Days: New students receive an orientation to Brenau that covers their academic experience and an introduction to the curriculum, billing and financial aid, an explanation of FERPA, computer and library technology training, and other services available to them as Brenau students. Transfer registration events are held three times per year at the beginning of every of every semester and provide the opportunity for transfer students to learn, explore, & experience more about the programs Brenau offers while touring the main campus in Gainesville. Admissions and Financial Aid representatives are available. |
