Degree Programs: Overview
Nursing (BSN)
The nursing program is designed to prepare students to provide care that is sensitive to the unique health needs of individuals, families and communities. Evidence-based practice, theory, and professional values and standards combined with real world clinical experiences form the basis for this challenging undergraduate program. The 120 credit hour nursing program includes two years of pre-requisite coursework followed by two years of specialized study. Additionally, students learn the practice of nursing in a state-of-the-art simulation lab and in diverse clinical settings.
UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMS
| Nursing Full Time | BSN | The baccalaureate nursing program at Brenau, which was created in 1978 by the merger of the Hall School of Nursing and Brenau, leads to the bachelor of science in nursing degree (B.S.N.). The B.S.N. Program has Georgia Board of Nursing approval and is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. |
| Nursing part-time | BSN | The Part-time BSN program is a Bachelor of Science in Nursing that can be completed through the Evening and Weekend College. |
| Nursing RN – BSN Bridge | BSN | The RN-BSN program is designed for practicing professional nurses wishing to enhance their position within the profession. |
