Welcome to the Department of Mathematics & Science! We are proud of our students, staff, and faculty. Brenau University is a small school, but with a unique focus on individual attention and advising.

Dr. Latricia Scriven – Chair, Department of Mathematics & Sciences

We have several exciting programs in our department, including the new Pre-Physicians Assistant (PPA) program, and our customized Biomedical Concentration – perfect for those students interested in preparing for a career in medicine, veterinary medicine, dentistry or pharmacy. We also welcome those students who have a pure passion for biology – we want to prepare you for graduate school and a career path that might range from marine ecology to human genetics research. Whether we are taking you to one of our field laboratories in Polynesia or the Yucatan, or involving you with our brand new molecular biology laboratory, all of our students are sure to find a niche that will excite and inspire them.
