This special exhibit from the Georgia Museum of Art’s permanent
collection and the collection of Carl and Marian Mullis features works of art that depict animals by American self-taught artists. Paintings, sculptures, and mixed-media creations by such folk masters as Thornton Dial, Sr. and Mose Tolliver and by outstanding but relatively unheralded contemporary artists like Ted Gordon will be on display. This juried exhibition showcases the work of Brenau University art and design students. The exhibition focuses on design-based works in the areas of graphic design, interior design, fashion design, and two- and three-dimensional design. This exhibit is free and open to the public.
