Occupational Therapy Degree Options
Brenau
University provides several options for becoming an occupational
therapist. Students may pursue a combined BS/MS in occupational
therapy. Students already possessing a bachelor’s degree may pursue a
graduate degree (MS) in occupational therapy.
Schedule Options
Students
may choose the fulltime Women’s College day program or the part-time
Evening Weekend program. The program choice depending on specific life
situation or schedule needs.
Full time- Women’s College program
Located at
our Gainesville, GA campus, this option is ideal for students who desire
a traditional course of study. This program is completed in nine
semesters. Classes are typically held 4-5 days a week between 9am and 5
pm. Students take 16-19 hours per semester.

Part time- Evening Weekend program
Located at
our Atlanta, GA site, this option is ideal for working students or
individuals who have commitments during the week. Many people who are
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA’s) will likely choose
this option so they may still work while in the program. This program
schedule is every other weekend on Friday evening and all day on
Saturday. Students will have a significant amount of online course work
in-between class meeting times.
