Jan Davis, MS, OTR |
Brenau University is pleased to announce that we
are sponsoring a workshop by Jan Davis, at our Atlanta campus on
November 14 & 15, 2008. Jan is an internationally recognized
occupational therapist who has developed extensive strategies on
evaluation and intervention for adults with hemiplegia. Jan's unique
approaches provide very clear strategies to combine occupation based and
neuromotor approaches, thus enhancing motor control while improving
skills in daily activities. |

In addition, we have 10 graduate students
enrolled in this course as part of an Advance Practice Elective. After
they complete this workshop, we would like for these graduate students
to try out their learning with actual clients. To meet this need, we
have a very limited number of free registrations that we can offer to
experienced OTRs in exchange for those therapists supervising these
students while providing intervention to a couple of individuals with
hemiplegia at their facility. If you are interested, please contact
