Program Plan

"Brenau views this program as an opportunity to serve both public and private secondary schools in the North Georgia area that are experiencing teacher shortage," said Dr. Bill Ware, dean of Brenau's School of Education.  "As shortages continue, it will remain most severe in the areas of math and science but it will also manifest shortages in other areas such as English," Ware stated.  Brenau's MAT program is offered both in Gainesville at the main campus and at Brenau's Atlanta location on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard.
