The Women's College of Brenau University is pleased to announce our second annual Leadership Scholarship Competition to be held here on campus Sunday and Monday, February 15 and 16, 2004. This is a wonderful opportunity to earn scholarships and participate in intensive leadership training.

We are looking for young women who have already shown their potential to benefit from the leadership opportunities we have for you at Brenau. Please examine the characteristics listed below and nominate yourself for this scholarship competition if you find yourself described in one or more of the items and plan to be present for the event. Please email or call us as soon as possible (no later than February 09, 2004) to let us know of your plans. When we hear from you, we will send you a packet of information including an application for the Leadership Scholarship and a detailed description of the two-day event. You will also need to be admitted to Brenau University before any scholarships can be awarded to you. Give us a call if you need an application form.  Phone numbers are at right.

Just as students with sports scholarships have expectations for their performance with a team, students who are named Leadership Scholarship winners at Brenau will be required to serve as leaders on campus in ways they choose and to document that fact each semester they hold the scholarship. They will also participate in leadership training opportunities at Brenau.

1. I have held a significant leadership position in my school, church, or community.

2. I am a member of an organization that requires leadership and service.

3. I have served a significant number of community service hours.

4. I initiated a new project for an organization or community.

5. I am recognized as a person of character and integrity who would personify the Brenau Ideal.
 

If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, then you have a serious chance for winning a valuable Brenau Scholarship!
